Aviation Emissions

Policy Statement

Aviation has a long track record of reducing fuel burn and emissions over the past 40 years. However, the industry is growing and ackowledges that this growth will out pace emissions reduction over the five to seven years.

ACPA will, therefore, actively explore possibilities and initiatives that will reduce air travel's impact on the environment while ensuring the highest levels of safety.

ACPA will contribute ideas and expertise from the perspective of aircraft operators who have the knowledge and experience required to target systemic improvements without compromising safety.
